NPMC Welcomes Board Certified Surgeon, Dr. Rice

National Park Medical Center is pleased to welcome board certified general surgeon Dr. Mandy Rice, DO, to their medical team. Dr. Rice will practice at Direct Surgical Care of Hot Springs.
Dr. Rice obtained her medical degree from the University of North Texas Science Center completed her General Surgery Residency and Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburg, Pa.
“I am so excited to join the National Park Medical Center family,” Rice said. “From the first encounter and communication with faculty and staff here, I have appreciated the kindness, compassion, and excellent patient care that that you all deliver. Thank you all for welcoming me so warmly!”
She offers her patients an array of surgical procedures, including gallbladder removal, appendix removal, hernia repairs, bowel surgery, trauma, and surgical critical care. She also has a keen interest in expanding robotic-assisted technology in elective and emergency general surgery for its many benefits to the patient. She has been recognized as a Super User by Intuitive, the Da Vinci robot company.
