National Park Medical Center recognized for Quality
February 3, 2025

National Park Medical Center recently earned an award from Arkansas Medicaid and the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care (AFMC) as part of the annual Inpatient Quality Incentive (IQI) program. National Park Medical Center was recognized for its dedication of consistent participation of 10 or more years in the IQI program and for its efforts toward improving the health of Arkansans.
Through a partnership between Arkansas Medicaid, AFMC, and the Arkansas Hospital Association, the IQI program was developed in 2006 to assess quality of care through the ways in which hospitals provide medical care to their patients. Since its launch in 2006, Arkansas Medicaid has awarded financial incentives to participating hospitals that demonstrate significant improvements in health outcomes.
“National Park Medical Center has a high standard for quality of care, and we are pleased to be recognized by the State of Arkansas,” Scott Bailey, NPMC CEO.
