2018 NPMC Junior Volunteer Summer Program Kicks Off

The 2018 National Park Medical Center Junior Volunteer Summer Service Program kicked off this week with a total of 15 participants. The program is designed to teach teens ages 14 to 17 about the healthcare industry through observation of various hospital departments including Emergency Services, Health Information Management, Human Resources, Outpatient Surgery, Cardiac Rehab, Marketing, Administration and more. “NPMC encourages students that are interested in the many facets of healthcare to experience what it’s like to be in a healthcare environment on a daily basis,” said NPMC marketing and volunteer manager, Heather Buckley. “We are thrilled to have such an enthusiastic and talented group of students this year.” The 2018 program runs through Friday, August 3.
